George Lupascu-Pruna - Hofstede Accredited Intercultural Practitioner
George Lupascu-Pruna is an Intercultural Practitioner accredited by Itim International-The Hofstede Center since 2015. With a Master’s degree in Corporate and Leadership Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Automation Engineering he worked for different International companies, delivering projects all over the world, from New York to Prague, Brussels, Kiev and Shanghai, and leading different multinational teams, including during the turmoil of 2014 in Ukraine.
With Itim International he helped his clients improve the communication with their foreign partners, increase their efficiency internally and align their Practices with their desired Strategy in their unique working environment. He is proficient in using Hofstede’s 6D model, Hofstede's Multi-Focus model and several other Work Process Improvement tools.

Professor Ovidiu Nicolescu, PhD, is President of National Council of Small and Medium Enterprises in Romania (CNIPMMR) and Director of National Center of Excelence for International Comparative Management Studies.

HuguesSeraphin

Dr Hugues Séraphin holds a PhD from the Université de Perpignan Via Domitia (France). He is the Programme Leader for the Event Management programme at the University of Winchester. His teaching and research interests include Event Management and Tourism Management. 

 Bratianu

Constantin Bratianu is professor of Strategic Management and Knowledge Management, UNESCO Department for Business Administration, and the founding director of the Research Center for Intellectual Capital, Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Romania. He is founding editor of the international journals Management & Marketing, and Management Dynamics in the Knowledge Economy. He is Associate Editor of the Electronic Journal of Knowledge Management. His academic interests are: knowledge dynamics, knowledge management, intellectual capital, and strategic management.

Title of the key note lecture:
Uncertainty and Risk in Decision Making
The main ideas refer to the fact that our education focuses on certainty and deterministic thinking while the reality in organizations and business implies uncertainty and risk taking in decision making.

Dina

Alexandrina Tanvuia, a former student of Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, “Dunarea de Jos” University of Galati, where she studied Marketing and Trade, has a Master of Management and Trade from Université Paris-Est, France. With a passion for the hospitality industry, Alexandrina received a Master’s of Science in Hospitality Administration from University of Nevada, Las Vegas.  While in the entertainment capital of the world, she focused her career on the casino industry, working for one of the largest resorts and casinos in Las Vegas. Alexandrina is currently an Assistant Professor of Hospitality and Event Management at Lasell College in Boston, Massachusetts and her focus continues to be on the resort and casino industry.

Matt Dr. Matthew Reilly has a doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. He has a master's degree in Marketing and a bachelor's degree in Management from Lasell College. His research interests include student motivation and persistence in four-year postsecondary institutions.
He has taught in both the graduate and undergraduate programs at Lasell College since 2011. He has taught a wide variety of marketing, business, and leadership courses at several colleges in the Boston area, while also working with students outside the classroom in an advisory capacity, as he supervises and mentors graduate-level capstone projects. Dr. Reilly is also the co-chair of the Delta Mu Delta Honors Society at Lasell College.
Prior to teaching, Dr. Reilly's professional experience included various marketing, customer service, banking, and communications roles at several large Boston-based financial firms including the Fortune 500 Company, State Street Corporation and Commonwealth Financial Network. Prior to these roles, he worked in administration at Wentworth Institute of Technology.
MustafaUngan
Dr Mustafa Ünğan
holds a PhD in Operations Management from the University of South Carolina. He is an associate professor at Sakarya University’s Business School, Turkey.
He is the vice editor of the Journal of Business Science. His current research focuses on supply chain risk management, business process management, and occupational health and safety.
He has held administrative duties in academia including associate dean, faculty board member, Erasmus coordinator, quality improvement coordinator, etc. During that period, he was heavily involved in curricula design, new department openings and international partnerships.
